don't start your day procrastinating, 

don't start postponing things!

or you'll end up postponing everything!

Vacation time is done!

Nor life will always be fair!

There will always be rain, 

And typhoons are certain!

Sometimes they come so sudden,

With a little time to prepare!

But most of the time they come,

With loud thunder and lightning!

But plants needed the rain to grow,

Just as flowers needed the sun to bloom!

Accept them as part of a cycle,

And become wiser and stronger!

Always look on the bright side,

Try to learn from the previous deed!

Notice the good and the bad,

And you'll be wiser when the storm is here!

If things get tough, ask yourself

Is there something i can do 

to make things better?

If YES.. Then strive to make things better, 

            mold the situation to suit your needs, 

            wants or dreams. 

But be ready to accept the consequences, 

            because 

            every decision comes with either

            a prize or a punishment.

If YOU CAN'T DO ANYTHING.. 

            then accept it, 

            do not stress your self 

            in changing something

         that can not be changed!

Munting sapin sa paang matikas,

Proteksiyon sa batong matatalas,

Na sa daan ay nakakalat!

Pudpod man at butas butas,

Bundok, burol at mga kapatagan,

Siyudad, sitio, at mga barangay,

Binigyan mo ako ng lakas,

Upang pagasa ay iwagayway!

Buhay Mangagawa..

Bahay, Jeep, LRT, Trabaho, Trabaho, LRT, Jeep, Bahay, 

Paulit ulit nalang, araw araw, Wala ng pagbabago.

Nakakasawa, nakakairita, lalo na kapag traffic, 

Ang daming oras magisip, Nakakasakit ng ulo.

Hindi makagimik, Hindi makagala, 

Sahod na darating, alam na Kung saan mapupunta.

Tubig, kuryente, at bahay, hiling na sapatos ni kuya. 

damit din daw ni ate, at si bunso manok na masaya.

Saan ba aabot, Kakarampot na kita, 

Kinsenas at katapusan, payslip nalang ang natitira.

Laban lang, bukas ganito ulet. Pero Teka, may natira pang barya, 

pwede pa sa isaw at kwek-kwek, pasalubong kay bunso,

para masaya!

missing you again

its been 3 months since you left

and yet it still hurts so much inside

i wish you are still with me

and continue building the dreams we dreamed

I asked the lord, why you have to die?

but then i realized death is just a matter of time

god may have other plans for us

and i miss that naughty pout...

To the Arms of an Angel

Its been a while, Yes I know!

You've been thinking I've forgotten you!

I was caught in a storm, i don't know where to go!

but deep in my heart, there was always you!

Our beloved was gone, never to be seen again,

Left the world of mortals, in the arms of an angel!

Left me without saying goodbye, in a coma of despair,

Only hope is left, that we'll be seeing each other again!

I had a few regrets, and i wish i told you,

The love i have for you, is more than what you knew!

I wished i kissed you more and gave you more affection,

I wish i embraced you more and made you feel more comfortable!

We were not the perfect couple, we sometimes fight,

We argue, we disagree, we fought some silly fight!

But in the end we choose to cherish the love,  

The love we have for each other, and forget the fight!

I will continue living, though without you by my side,

My life would never be the same, I am asking you to be my guide!

Show me how to conquer this loneliness, and accept the life,

A life without you, by my side!

Wish

i wish i am still a child

free from the worries of an adult world

full of  love and innocence

unconditional and not profit oriented

i wish worries and regret never met me

laughter and joy to always surround me

tears and pain will avoid me

and forever to be always merry

what a wonderful world it could have been

if all the negative emotion was not here

no pain or regret, no tears and pain

only happiness and a whole lot of merry making

rest day

i have a job that needed attention

from monday to friday until five in the afternoon

come saturday and sunday

is my designated rest day

they say all i have to do is rest

stop worrying about the office pests

but as i woke up every saturday

it's not really my rest day

the laundry is screaming 

the kitchen needs scrubbing

the toilet needs cleaning

and my room needs tidying

sunday is even worse

i have to iron my clothes

i have to clean the porch

and only then can i go to church

saturday and sunday 

rest day is a lie

it's only an imagination

it's only an illusion

Overworked, Underpaid?

overworked, underpaid

a feeling that lingers every now and then

especially if you have a lot in your hand

and you wear different hat on your head

multi tasking is not a new word

it just got new meaning and an added work

worry not my friend, time will pass

and you will soon realize, that wasn't so bad 

look at the bright side, I always say

it is a kind of training, not all employees could have

  time management is the key

to finish four people's job by one employee

overworked, underpaid
you're not alone

but at least you have a job

that pays the bills and buy your wants

vacation time is done

 it's Monday morning dude

time to rise and shine

the office is waiting

the reports are lining 

your attention needed

otherwise it's an overtime 

staying late in the office

to catch up with the holidays

more time to spend on your table

for reports to be filled

you had your time with your family

spend quality time with your love ones

now your work is asking

for your undivided time

Deadlines...

Its been a while since i wrote a line

my other responsibility had been taking my time

not much of a leisure i don't know why

stress in my side, my oh my!!

rush projects keep on showing

reports, bills and letters keep on piling 

everybody just keep on asking

my undivided attention, My What is happening!

 

shorter deadlines keep on knocking

i don't know if i have say thank you, for believing

or curse you for making my life miserable

for every shorter deadline that you deliver

I need a break, I need a vacation

I need a raise, I need a promotion

I need a job that is less stressful

or maybe a new boss with more compassion

deadlines, stress, vacation, promotion

sometimes you have them, sometimes you don't

if you're still with the company, bear with it

you accepted the job, so deal with it...

a drop of work

work loads sometimes drop like rain

sometimes in drizzle, giving you time to think

giving you an extra minute to check

and a few seconds to re-evaluate

a fun time in the office

a little chat with your colleagues

a time to know whats going on

when the work load comes in drizzle

but sometimes the sun isn't always shining

and the work loads drop like storm

they come from every direction

making you dizzy and disoriented

stuck to your table 

can't spare a minute to chat

reports, graphs and letters 

all asking for your attention ASAP.

 

worry not my friend, the storm will pass

understand every reports, graphs and letters

don't let them come back to your table

because of a wrong punctuation mark

don't let the work load bring you down

work with enthusiasm and a smile

work will always be here to stay

just get your reward on payday

a line and a rhyme

a few years passed 

and i am still obsessed

in writing a line

that sometimes rhyme 

  

look for consorts

for the ending words

for the line to rhyme

and be a charm

sometimes they avoid me

and hide from me

they stay hidden 

until the line is forgotten 

oh! what a sorrow

if a word becomes a widow

   you cant find a partner

alone in the line forever

just write and write

until the words sound alike

let them be partners

and give them happiness

I have an idea...

sometimes ideas come pouring in

in time and places your not expecting

not a paper and pen in sight

your hand is full you couldn't write

a beautiful idea that is worth sharing

a great story line that needs writing

the trouble is you couldn't remember them all 

if a pen and paper is available

but once you have them again in your mind

another distraction is at hand

a question,  a call, or a friend

come barging in uninvited

oh! what a frustration

when an idea is in conception

the problem is you couldn't write

all the pen and paper in the world is out of sight
